Who are we?
We are Fandangos, an entertainment and events company based in Highworth. We provide a broad range of services to the industry - one of our services is hospitality and bars. We have named this project The Travelling Tavern and we want it to do just that.
​
Why are we doing this?
As part of our services we offer event bars. In summer 2019 we provided the bar for The Great Barn Festival in Great Coxwell, which was a roaring success. We noticed that the locals really enjoyed having the opportunity to pop out for the evening or the weekend and have a drink with their neighbours, friends and local community which they wouldn’t usually have.

Community engagement is important to us and that’s why we are so excited about The Travelling Tavern, we’re bringing something to residents that they don’t necessarily have access to.
Is there a long-term plan?
We would love to set up a schedule of different venues throughout the summer months. If there’s a demand and the project is popular then we’d introduce food to the evenings to accompany the drink and entertainment. We’re hoping to do this year after year rather than creating a one-off experience so it's a bit of a test to see how it's received.
