Design and Social Media Manager

 

About Us

We are an increasingly growing events company, based in Highworth. We are a small team of two full time and one part time member which grows over summer months as our workload expands. We provide a range of services to the event and entertainment industry including: Marquee and infrastructure hire, festivals, wedding planning, public events, event planning and health & safety, licensing, entertainment programming, corporate events, bars and catering. 

 

Hours, Commitment, Location and Salary

This role is also open to self-employed people. We are looking for someone approximately one day per week until the end of our summer season, usually finishing at the beginning of September. This could be more some weeks but hours / days can be flexible, you’ll need to plan diaries with us to maximise shared office time, at our small office on Highworth Highstreet. You will be expected to attend certain events which could include unsociable hours and additional weekend work – this will always be discussed before. There is the potential for this role to become permanent for the right person. 

Hourly rate of £10 - £12.50 dependent on age and experience. 

 

The Job Role & Duties 

We are looking for someone with design and social media experience to oversee:

  • Design & production of company artwork for websites and social media accounts

  • Developing company brands

  • Creating work from already defined brand guidelines

  • Assisting the company director in scheduling and monitoring social campaigns 

  • Developing a plan to grow social following

  • Creating brand awareness on TikTok

  • Attending events to capture internal content

  • Using design software

  • Other marketing & design related tasks to support the event director

 

About you

The role is open to anyone. We are looking for someone who has some sort of design and / or social media experience, but ideally both. The person should be happy to work within a team and also confident working alone once set out on tasks. They should have excellent organisations skills and be able to manage multiple jobs, clients and deadlines effectively.

          We are seeking a confident person who is comfortable interacting with the public at live events. We need someone who is able to use design software and up-to-date with current social media trends and how to effectively use the various platforms. 

         It’s essential that this new role is a filled by a passionate person and fits within our small team, we like to have fun and enjoy ourselves while working in what can be an exhilarating, but exhausting event world!
